Evening concert with the Akademiks

The centre is currently fund-raising for an expansion as we have outgrown the building. Before the concert started, it was announced that we had raised £120,000 but still had some way to go. So the Akademiks were back to help us out.

The Akademiks are fabulous musicians and did not disappoint, they got the centre of the hall packed with dancers for most of the evening. The food provided by the Whistling Teapot was delicious and the staff received a big round of applause.
